James Gregory Fathers Against Violence

Jan 24, 2015

James Gregory Fathers Against Violence: “

My son Giuseppe was murdered. He wasn’t the intended target. I didn’t expect my son to be taken away. He was born on my 21st birthday. Giuseppe was a ‘Bright future in a place of despair’. I needed something to take that grief and turn it into something positive.

I have been to Jamaica several times. It is a beautiful Island, beautiful people, can’t wait to return.

I wanted to show Giuseppe his memory will live on – I started Fathers Against Violence.

Violence is society’s problem. Prevention is better than cure. We need grass roots organisation on the ground to engage with young people. Education is the new gangster.
