Spring Into Action Project Overview
The Spring into Action Project will be providing physical support and training to help young people develop their fitness, healthy habits and mental and physical resilience. They will be supported to progress in joining a local sports team.
The project will develop young people’s health and well-being of young people through planned exercises and routines.
This was a new pilot project working with young people ages 18-24 to help improve their physical, and emotional health and wellbeing.
The barriers addressed by the Spring Into Action Programme
The programme addressed barriers young people experience to achieving their potential by:
- Creating an environment in which individual differences and the contributions of all our beneficiaries are recognised and valued.
- Young people have a positive mindset about their lives and sports opportunities.
- Young people will demonstrate changes they have made to their lives through having increased self-confidence.
- Young people demonstrating increased social skills and well-being.
